This work was created for a competion on Dutch television. The object of the competition was to create a work inspired by Matisse.

I decided to recreate in my own style the work "Music" of Matisse. Just as Matisse in his later days used cutoutforms I cutout the forms for the spectaters from another work. I colored the faces of the forms as a reference to the fauvist style of Matisse.
