All deserve(s) respect II
This photo is of some bush reflected in the water. The inspiration for this work came quickly as I saw that I could emphasize part of the leaves by giving them different colors. First I named this work "after Matisse". As he in his later years also cutout leaf like shapes and colored them, just as I did in this image. It took some work but when it was finished I realized it had a double meaning. The first meaning - the All deserves respect - is to look at the whole picture and see it as the universe which deserve respect since all mankind has a deep connection with nature. In our cities with all the technological comforts we forgot about that connection. But nature has a way of reminding us of the connection, mostly by natural disasters. The second meaning - all deserve respect - are the different colors of the shapes which represent different neurodivergent people. Our brains are all shaped by nature and some brains - just like mine - differ from the norm. Nature doesn't discrimiate and creates room for an enormous diversity of beings; animals, plants, fungi, birds, etc... Since we all belong to nature we best do as nature and respect all beings. For the second version I decided to add the poem. The poem is composed with the help of AI. Due to its muted colors it brings a contemplative mood in every room.
