my background my mystical experencies technical stuff
I've chosen my artist name WHAM, a short explosion. That suits me: people often said to me you express yourself short and powerful. The inspiration for that name comes from the work of Roy Lichtenstein. ..................................................................................... My art can be experienced at different levels and some works have a well defined meaning. "Distorted reality" is about that everyone builds its own map of reality and most people don't understand that the map is not the system and hence we all build a distorted view of reality. "All deserve(s) respect" is about that we all are part of nature and that we are OK, we are how nature created us. Therefore everyone, regardless of which color she/he wears, deserve respect. The more esthetic images are about the light, ripples and reflections that the water surface shows. This always attract my attention. These are different every time and are influenced by the environment, the incident light and the wind. It can be the contrast between light and dark or certain shapes in the ripples of the water catches my eye. I am fascinated by the erratic, changing patterns of the reflection. These images are then edited to arrive at an artistic impression that evokes wonder and can be appreciated for their esthetics. The ordinary scenes are transformed into an atmosphere of colors and shapes. By applying digital techniques to these photos, the interactions between light and water are enhanced, making the eternal dance of nature visible. The study section shows work that still need some work and are not yet finished. It gives insight in my creative process. In the study section you can also find my nature photos. ...........................................................................................................
